Responsibilities:
--- Drafting Legal Documents - Prepare wills, trusts, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, and other estate planning documents with great attention to detail, but under attorney supervision.
--- Recording and Managing Deeds - Draft and record deeds with the appropriate county offices, ensuring property transfers align with the client's estate plan.
--- Client Meetings and Communication - Meet with clients to gather information, review documents, explain processes, and answer non-legal advice questions.
--- Case Management - Maintain organized client files, track deadlines, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
--- Coordination with Team Members - Work closely with attorneys, administrative staff, and other team members to ensure each client's estate plan is properly executed.
--- Document Execution and Notarization - Arrange for clients to sign documents properly, ensure notarization, and witness signatures as needed.
--- Client Follow-Up and Maintenance - Assist with ongoing client needs, including updating estate plans, funding trusts, and coordinating beneficiary designations.
--- Correspondence and Communication with Third Parties - Coordinate with financial advisors, accountants, and other professionals to align estate plans with financial strategies.
--- Technology and Software Management - Utilize estate planning software, case management systems, and document automation tools to streamline workflows.

Qualifications:
Required:
--- Minimum 3 years of estate planning drafting experience, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents.
--- Strong proficiency in drafting and preparing legal documents with accuracy and attention to detail.
--- Experience with deed preparation and recording.
--- Ability to manage multiple client matters efficiently and meet deadlines.
--- Excellent organizational skills and ability to track case progress.
--- Strong written and verbal communication skills for client interactions and professional correspondence.
--- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal case management software.
--- Ability to work independently while collaborating with attorneys and team members.
--- High level of diligence, accuracy, and attention to detail-this is the most critical quality for success in this role.


Preferred:
--- Experience using WealthCounsel or similar estate planning software for document automation.
--- Knowledge of the funding of trusts.
--- Familiarity with financial institutions, real estate transactions, and beneficiary designations related to estate planning.
--- Notary Public certification (or willingness to obtain one).
